A NELSON company could could have legal action taken against it by Pendle Council for breach of its planning conditions.
Planning permission was granted in 1997 for use of the building at Bradley Fold, in Bankhouse Road, as the vehicle repair shop Imran Motors, subject to a number of conditions.
Pendle planning manager Andy Wiggett stated in a reported to the Nelson Committee that the business had breached condition two which read 'There shall be no parking of vehicles whatsoever or storage of materials on the area hatched green on the approved plan' on the grounds of visual amenity.
The area described is to the side of the garage and when visited by the council on December 10, there were four vehicles parked in it.
Planning officers advised the owner to remove them from the land before the committee meeting on January 7.
Mr Wiggett recommended to councillors that if they were not removed legal action in the form of a breach of condition notice would be taken.
