CHORLEY Lynx face the long trip to Cumbria this Sunday when they travel to Craven Park to take on in-form Barrow Border Raiders, kick off 2pm.

Last weekend Lynx turned the formbook upside down when they defeated previously unbeaten Whitehaven at Victory Park and coach Graeme West will be looking for his team to build on that result and record their first away victory since they defeated Oldham in August 1999.

Lynx's loan stars Dale Cardoza and Paul Noone have returned to WWarrington but Graeme West has brought in 19-year-old second row forward Phil Braddish and centre Tom Kilgannon from Warrington. Steve Argent has recovered from injury whilst Chris Ramsdale, Paul Wilcox and Peter Cahalin will all come into contention to replace Cardoza and Noone.

There has also been good news about injured captain Ian Talbot who was expected to miss the season with a knee injury but the injury is not as bad as first thought and he could be back in action in February.

Barrow have started the season strongly with two victories from the opening three fixtures. Last Sunday they had an excellent victory at Dewsbury sealing the game with a try from Geoff Luxon two minutes from time, Darren Holt was the star of the show and he was ably supported by Radney Bowker and Phil Atkinson. They have recently strengthened their squad with the signing of Sonny Nickle from St Helens and Cliff Beverley from the New Zealand Warriors, but neither is expected to figure against the Lynx.

Lynx will select from: Watts, Jones, Eddie Kilgannon, Causey, Reddicliffe, Patel, Duffy, Street, Roden, Parry, Harrison, Bellamy, Bloor, Birdseye, Prest, Argent, Ramsdale, Wilcox, Cahalin, Braddish, Kilgannon.
