HANG on to your magic carpet and get ready for a magical journey into pantoland. Sinbad the Sailor will be in residence at Lytham's Lowther Pavilion on December 27, 28 and 29.
The panto, presented by the Parish Church of St Annes Operatic Society (pictured above) offers the traditional mix of song, dance and comedy and will delight all ages.
NODA award winner Karen Deakin plays Fatima and Peter Hall is the pantomime dame Widow O'Malley. David Swift plays the Wazir of Police, while teenagers Katie Bamber and Melanie Sharples -- both Queen Mary pupils -- are Sinbad and Princess Yasmin.
Performances are nightly at 7pm on all three nights, and there are also 2pm matinees on December 28 and 29.
Tickets are £5 for adults, £3 for children and party concessions are available. For advance tickets phone 721422 or buy them from the Lowther Pavilion box office on 735211 from December 27.
Proceeds raised will go to the International Aid Trust, which helps the sick children of Chernobyl.
