LANCASHIRE County Council is asking people -- "Do you have what it takes to be part of the Crossing Patrol service?"
There are vacancies around Lancashire that the County Council is keen to fill as soon as possible.
The posts are regularly advertised in local Job Centres and on site but the council has decided to spread the message as far as possible in order to get the right people for the job.
A spokesman explained: "The Crossing Patrol Service is very highly regarded and has achieved awards for the high standards it achieves. "We are certain that there are people out there that are looking for an opportunity like this to serve their community."
If anyone is interested in becoming a fixed point crossing patrol or a deputy, then contact Ken Speak on 01772 646810.
