LEIGH Centurions still don't know if international back rower Chris Morley will face disciplinary action after being put on report during last week's landslide win over Hunslet.
Morley was involved in a scuffle with Hawks' second rower Jonlee Lockwood which ended with the Hunslet youngsters being taken to hospital with a badly cut eyelid.
None of the match officials had a clear view of the incident, choosing to put it on report. If it is found Morley has a case to answer, he would be ordered to appear before the Disciplinary Panel in Leeds.
Leigh's match video is inconclusive according to head coach Paul Terzis but the League will also view Hunslet's version of the tape and take into account the match officials' report before reaching a decision.
"My view was obscured and the tape is inconclusive," says Terzis. "So far we've heard nothing from the League."
But Hawks coach Roy Sampson was furious. He said: "Lockwood is going to be a top class player, but the incident was just crazy. I will be taking it further because it looks like he will need surgery."
Meanwhile Leigh expect to have a clean bill of health for the Boxing Day derby clash with Swinton at Gigg Lane, kick off 3pm.
Scrum-half Lee Sanderson (ankle) and centre Mark McCulley (thigh) were the only casualties from the Hunslet game but are expected to have recovered. Prop Gareth Price who has missed the last two games with an ankle strain will also be back in the squad.
Leigh won't be short of familiar faces on Boxing Day with ex-Hilton Park stars Lee Hansen, Craig Dean, Jason Johnson, Andy Leathem and Craig Wingfield all expected to be in the Lions' line-up.
