Christmas a season of goodwill? Not in some Blackburn shops, it would seem.
I don't like to try clothes on that I am buying, therefore always buy clothes from shops that refund, no quibbles asked.
This Christmas, I bought clothes from a new shop in Blackburn. I went to exchange them, but there was nothing else I liked. Then, like something from the Dark Ages, I was offered a credit note.
I can't believe with all the new European laws and such that this is still acceptable in today's society.
Next time, I will stick to buying from reputable shops and I urge others to look for signs (small as they are) before buying clothes from new outlets.
L SMITH (Mrs), Accrington Road, Blackburn.
