A MAN was stabbed in the neck with a syringe by a robber who claimed he was HIV positive.
The 56-year-old man was outside Herbert James hairdressers on Lord Street, Blackpool, at around 11.40pm on Dec 14 when a man came up, demanded money and threatened him with the needle.
The two men struggled and the victim was stabbed in the neck with the syringe. The thief then ran off without any money.
He was white, in his early 20s, 5ft 11ins tall and slim. He wore a grey baseball cap and a grey fleece and spoke with a local accent. Anyone with any information can contact police on (01253) 293933 or on the confidential Crimestoppers line (0800) 555 111.
