NEIL Tattersall of Pendle AC was a Boxing Day winner when Red Rose Road Runners staged their Annual 10K Road Race at Leyland.
Neil logged 31:22 for a ten second victory over Andrew Jones from East Cheshire Harriers.
Keith Johnson from Chorley Harriers was 5th in 32:37 as Bob Shorrock was 7th and 2nd veteran for Blackburn Harriers.
Chorley Harriers Tom Conroy and Eddie Pugh were winners in the M50 and M60 sections while for the host club Steve Hutton was 1st M55 and Susan Coulthurst was 2nd lady.
Clayton Harriers Christine Leathley and Kitty Garnett were respective winners of the F50's and F60's while Janet Pound won the F45's for Chorley AC.
Red Rose Road Runners' next promotion is a brand new event. The Myerscough 7M will be on Sunday 17th February.
Starting and finishing at Myerscough College, there will be a memento to all finishers.
