IAM sick and tired of reading whingeing letters about the state of the roadworks and resulting traffic jams in Blackburn.
When will drivers realise that it is the amount of cars on the road that causes traffic jams, not roadworks?
The roadworks in Blackburn are designed to improve the traffic systems, but people seem to expect this to happen overnight without causing any disruption at all. Get real!
Instead of moaning about the state of things, they could do something positive by getting out of their cars and using other means of transport. I am talking about buses, trains, bikes and feet -- though I doubt many drivers will even know what language I am speaking.
Getting out of your car will get you fitter, be better for the environment, help improve public transport services and be safer for our children. Think about it.
