THERE is bound to be something that will interest you at the John Paul Getty Institute's web site (http://www.getty.edu/).
The site features some of the latest exhibitions from the gallery in Los Angeles but you can browse around from the comfort of your desktop.
One of the most interesting sections is the Devices of Wonder exhibition pages, which looks at strange robots, images and machines from over 100 years ago.
On the site you can watch some of the first films ever made and study the workings of an automaton.
Elsewhere on the site you can see some of the institute's latest art exhibitions, including paintings of the Grand Tour and recently discovered paintings by Rubens and Brueghel.
The Getty site is a very interesting part of the internet to explore and is well worth dropping in on.
