CANVEY ISLAND in the third round is rarer than a sighting of the infamous Canvey Island monster.
Jeff King takes his FA Trophy holders to Turf Moor on Saturday for the FA Cup third round clash and having beaten both second division Wigan Athletic and Northampton Town the Essex side is sniffing more giant-killing glory.
The club has won a remarkable 26 of its last 27 games, the other one being drawn and they expect to be backed by more than 500 fans who are travelling north by bus, car, train and even plane.
These are the players that King will be relying on when the two sides finally come face to face.
Goalkeeper Ashley Harrison: The local man has been a fixture in the side for several seasons.
Right back Micky Bennett: League experience at Brighton he will play in a flat back four.
Centre back Ben Chenery: Scored the winner in the FA Trophy final last season.
Centre back Steve Ward: A teacher, he was the club's record signing a couple of years ago when he cost £3,000.
Left back Julian Dicks: The club's most recognisable figure after a league career with Birmingham City, West Ham and Liverpool.
Right midfield John Kennedy: A product of the Ipswich Town Youth academy he is also impressive as a wing back.
Midfield Adam Miller: Another ex Ipswich youngster, came to Canvey because of links between coach Glenn Pennyfather and Paul Goddard, the Suffolk club's former youth director.
Midfield Mark Stimson: Just turned 34 and very experienced. Played for a host of league clubs after starting at Tottenham, Jim Smith once buying him for Newcastle.
Midfield Steve Parmenter: Had a trial at Turf Moor when Adrian Heath was manager but was told he was not quick enough.
Left midfield Chris Duffy: The record signing cost £5,000 from Northwich Victoria.
Centre forward Neil Gregory: Scored the only goal in both FA Cup giant-killing wins this season and hopes to have recovered from a broken bone in his hand to play on Saturday.
If Gregory is unfit then Lee Boylan, a product of the same West Ham youth system that has produced Joe Cole and Michael Carrick, will be given the chance to lead the line.
Also in the squad will be a former Spurs youngster Wayne Vaughan, the club's top scorer last season, Paul Cobb and former Ipswich player Adam Tanner.
