PUPILS at Staining CE school used their art skills to win sports gear in a special competition.
Youngsters from reception age to Year Six at the Staining Road school entered pictures of their favourite sports activity into United Co-op's Sports for Schools art competition.
And organisers were so impressed that the school was awarded 5,540 vouchers, which can be exchanged for free PE gear.
Head teacher Geoff Bottomley said: "We were very pleased to take part in this competition. The children were delighted with their certificates and they will see the benefits later on."
