STUDENTS at Beacon Hill High School saw their teachers in a whole new light as staff turned pop stars for an afternoon.
More than 200 pupils lifted the roof with "We Will Rock You" before staff donned costumes and took to the stage as The Bangles, Boyzone, A1, S-Club 7 and The Spice Girls.
Proceeds from the sell-out end-of-term treat were given to local charities in time for Christmas. Teacher and event organiser Angelina McMillan said: "The event was a real hit with the children and staff members really got into their new roles!" And she thanked "Take Two" for providing free karaoke equipment.
