A FYLDE teacher has been honoured for her long service to a Lytham school.
Ann Nowell, joint head of King Edward VII and Queen Mary School, joined the junior school in September, 1981, and she received special awards for 20 years' service at ceremonies attended by governors, staff and students.
School principal Julian Wilde said: "Ann expects high standards of personal behaviour and academic work from the pupils, and she is widely liked and respected by students and staff alike.
