SWINTON Lions boss Tony Humphries welcomed the news that Andy Leatham, Rob Barraclough, Jon Neil and Gareth Chambers could return for their home game against Dewsbury.
All four players took the opportunity to rest over the Christmas period and prepare for their comeback against the Rams.
"It was a good thing in one way not to have played over the holiday period, but I think the players would have preferred to have had a game,'' admitted Humphries, who has lost his two opening games.
Dewsbury, who haven't played since they lost at home to Barrow two weeks ago, will select from a full strength squad, with player coach Andy Fisher ready to name himself in the pack following a chest virus.
Kick-off at Gigg Lane is 3pm.
