PART of the doomed Millennium Dome has been given a second lease of life and a new home at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach bought a ticket box and promised that this part of the Millennium Dome would not be a failure. And it's not!
Thanks to the fun park, the ticket box actually sells tickets, but this time they are for first class rides and award-winning shows. With more than seven million visitors each year the ticket box is definitely seeing a busier life at the Pleasure Beach.
"This is the only part of the Dome that has actually made money!" exclaimed Geoffrey Thompson, Managing Director of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, pictured outside the box.
And to remind everyone, a sign has been placed in the ticket box saying just this!
The ticket box is situated at the North end of the park close to the The Grand National twin-track racing coaster.
