JEFF King returned from a family holiday at Euro Disney determined to prove once again that his Canvey Island club is anything but a Mickey Mouse outfit.
The man who has masterminded the incredible rise of the club since taking over as manager in 1992 can't wait to make his first trip to Turf Moor and pit his Ryman League leaders against first division Burnley.
"Getting promotion to the Conference may be our priority but we only have one target in mind at the moment, that is getting into the fourth round of the FA Cup," he said.
"Don't get me wrong, we know it will be a very, very difficult tie to win but when you have gone 27 games without defeat (26 of them wins) you do have a lot of confidence."
The Canvey Island squad is littered with players who have got a great deal of League experience behind them but King insisted that had not been a particular policy as he assembled his squad.
"Players become available and if you can you add them to your squad," he said. "It is not just a question of looking for one particular type of player."
The club won the FA Trophy last season in arguably the biggest game in the club's history but tomorrow's match is right up there with it.
"They are different but there is no doubt that the FA Cup third round is special," he said. "But you can't say that my players have nothing to lose, they have a place in the fourth round of the FA Cup to lose.
"We really want to win and I can promise you we will be giving it our best shot. And we are a better side this year than last because we have added some quality up front."
The arrival of youngster Lee Boylan from West Ham has certainly helped the club progress and he will be looking to be involved tomorrow.
After training last night the players got their hands on arguably the most famous trophy in the world as the sponsors AXA hosted an FA Cup evening at the club.
The players have enjoyed the national exposure that really started after their first round victory at second division Wigan.
And they know all those headlines will be dwarfed if they can pull off a major shock by triumphing at Turf Moor.
