PRESTON'S FA Cup third round clash against Brighton has been called off due to a frozen pitch.
The Lilywhite's faced a long trip to Brighton and an early announcement was made to avoid fans travelling in the event of the game being off.
The game has been rearranged for 15 January 2002.
The decision will allow North End manager David Moyes ta access the injury situation among his squad.
He said: " We've got one or two injuries, but not many."
"They are not something I like shouting about anyway, I leave that to others.
"I just have to report them and tell people if they are there, but I'd rather play the game."
Second Division Brighton have only lost two games this season and Moyes knows he is in for a tough test.
On the injury situation, Moyes said: "Sean Gregan's not available. Lee Cartwright is also not going to be ready.
"He's suffering with shin splints and is going to need to be rested for a couple of weeks.
"Michael Jackson and Kevin Gallacher are improving.
"Jacko's doing some light training with the rest of the team and hopefully he will be available in the next couple of weeks.
"Tepi has not trained this week, but we are hoping that he might be back kicking the ball in the next week or two."
