NORTH WEST businesses are being given a unique chance to showcase their services in one of the region's most exciting learning and work fairs.
Now! expo 2002 is being staged at Blackpool Winter Gardens on January 23 and 24 and will bring together dozens of employers and learning providers and offer hundreds of job vacancies and learning opportunities to the people of Lancashire. Now! expo co-ordinator Gill Pegge says it's a real one-off. "Most careers and learning exhibitions are targeted at school children and young people," she explained. "What we're aiming to do with Now! expo is buck the trend by taking the wealth of opportunities that are available to adults out into the market place".
Now! expo 2002 is completely non-profit making -- its aim is purely to help local people fulfil their potential. Exhibitors who sign up receive a package of benefits including free tickets to a pre-event press and media reception, plus entry on a dedicated Now! expo website.
