BUS bosses today revealed plans to make their services more attractive to disabled passengers with the introduction of more low-floor buses.
The £500,000 investment by Blackburn Transport comes just months after the firm spent a similar amount equipping its 100-strong fleet with CCTV cameras in a bid to provide a safer environment for the public transport-using public.
When the six new, easy-access buses arrive in February, Blackburn Transport will boast that 25 per cent of buses is made up of low-floor buses, making it easier for disabled passengers and people with prams to travel.
