HAIRDRESSER Michelle-Zoe Woodward wowed Blind Date host Cilla Black by saying: "I'm a better match-maker than you!"
Michelle, who now works at a hair salon in Haslingden and lives in Crawshawbooth, spent a year working at a dating agency.
And before deciding which one of three lucky men was going to join her on a far-flung date, she told stunned Cilla: "Both me and you are madames of love.
"I used to work for a reputable dating agency. I was the person who used to match everyone up. In the year I was there we had 20 weddings and over the 12 years it has been there, they've had 270."
Cilla told Michelle Blind Date had only had three weddings in its 17 years.
And while Michelle has been more than happy to tell friends, family and clients at Plus 2 Hairdressers about what happened, she is staying mum on whether Cilla will be needing to get another hat.
As viewers on Saturday saw, she picked Number Two, Lloyd, a lorry driver from London. He beat off Dean, from Great Yarmouth, who can do strange things with his knees and chartered accountant Andrew, from Sutton Coldfield. After picking Lloyd, she had the audience in stitches when she opened the envelope containing the destination of the date -- announcing that they were off for a curry and proclaiming 'I love them.' She forgot to mention that the curry would be in India!
Now friends, customers and family of Michelle, are due to cram into Madison Wine Bar in Rawtenstall to watch the next show on Saturday, which will include a video of the date.
And, if this gives any clues away, Lloyd is due to be there!
