ATHERTON LR entertain fellow NWCL Division One outfit Ramsbottom United tonight in one of the most attractive ties of the Lancs FA Marsden Trophy Round Two.

The Rams go into the tie with injury doubts over defenders Dave Roach and Mike Langhorn and with Paul Horridge in goal as Alan Fairbrother is still sidelined.

Manager Mike Kelly last week put hotshot striker David Yorke-Robinson, scorer of 18 goals so far this term, on contract.

Elsewhere in the Marsden Trophy tonight, Bamber Bridge entertain Barrow, Burscough are at home to Squires Gate, Clitheroe to Bacup Boro, Darwen to Morecambe, Leigh RMI to Rossendale United and Southport to Lancaster City. All ties will reach a conclusion at the first time of asking with extra time and penalties to be played if required.

Tomorrow Atherton Colls will look to clinch the one remaining place in the quarter finals with an away trip to Accrington Stanley.
