I THINK David Dunn's column in the Lancashire Evening Telegraph is a breath of fresh air. It gives a wonderful insight into how one of our brightest young stars is dealing with life at the top.
The revelation that the team has hardly trained over Christmas was eye-opening, especially with the bad results of late.
If Joe Kinnear at Luton can train every day (after a bad result at Macclesfield) for the last month (including Christmas Day) then why can't we? How are the players going to keep fit, or create an understanding with Andy Cole if they don't train?
Talking of Dunny, there is speculation linking him with a move to Anfield. I would like to tell the board at Ewood that allowing this would be a massive mistake, in every sense. It would rip the heart and soul out of an already fragile team, and although he isn't playing like an England captain at the moment, the signs are he will be the captain of our country one day.
Come on, Rovers, get it together!
