YOUNGSTERS are invited to take part in an Indian performing-arts project starting at Darwen Vale High School tomorrow.
The project is open to anyone under 18 who lives in the town and will culminate in a performance at Darwen Library Theatre on February 20.
Indian dancers and musicians are taking part and there will be chance to learn to play the sitar and harmonium as well as take part in some 'Bollywood'-style dancing.
Alison Mancina, who runs the music centre of excellence at the school, said: "We really want people to get involved. It's a chance to try something new and it only runs for a short period."
Anyone interested should go to the school on Blackburn Road tomorrow between 6 and 7.30pm, or call librarian Sariha Quiraishi on 01254 223000.
