PERFORMING art student Charlotte Davies is celebrating publishing success after penning a personal tribute to her grandma.
Charlotte, 18, is now looking forward to seeing the poem printed in Visions of Verse.
The publication was so impressed with the Accrington and Rossendale College students' work that they contacted her to ask permission to include the verse in the book.
The publishing company also hopes that the poem will bring wider recognition to Charlotte's talent. She said: "I've always done poems about things which happens to me."
As well as Grandma, Charlotte has also penned 'But suddenly', a poem devoted to Patrick Roberts, her uncle who died suddenly.
Charlotte has been using writing as a creative outlet since the age of six but aspires to becoming an actress.
With her Equity card in her back pocket, she has already done 'extra' work in Hollyoaks, Playing the Field and she has auditioned for Eastenders.
