ARTY pupils at a Cleveleys school drew up road safety ideas to win luxury art sets.
Primary one pupils from Sacred Heart Catholic Primary drew pictures of what drivers should not do while driving, such as talking on mobilie phones, as part of a road safety campaign organised by Kwik-Fit.
Judges chose 12 winners who were presented with their art sets at school by Isty Hussain, Kwik-Fit's regional manager, and company mascot Kwik-Fit Ken (see picture).
The presentation marked the end of Kwik-Fit's year-long national "Code for the Road" campaign.
Mr Hussain said the campaign was a "fun way" to get road safety messages across to children. He said: "Kwik-Fit works relentlessly to encourage and promote safety on the road, and we feel it is very important to highlight such issues with the younger generation."
Sacred Heart Primary School spokesman Sarah Burgess said: "We are thrilled with the efforts made by all the children who participated, and delighted to receive such an achknowledgement from Kwik-Fit.
"Sacred Heart is also a firm believer in promoting road safety to its pupils and we feel this campaign was an excellent approach to highlight this."
