THERE'S going to be a real song and dance at Todmorden Hippodrome
The town's Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society's "Musical Revue" is set to be staged at the theatre in April.
And last night there was a get-together for everyone who wants to be part of the action.
The revue will take a nostalgic look back at musical theatre, featuring well-known songs and excerpts from the shows.
Todmorden AODS musical director Andrew Mitchell is putting the show together. Last night's get-together offered would-be participants the chance to listen to some of the musical numbers which will be performed.
Spokesman for the society Andrew Rawlinson said: "There will also be some fantastic dance numbers, being arranged by choreographer Jacci Nicholson, and some specially selected showscenes."
