LEIGH beauticians were made up after clearing over £2,000 to help the community's cancer sufferers.
Now Barbara Gildart and her staff at Corpobello in Leigh want to thank the hundreds who helped.
The £2,120 collected from raffles, tombolas, a name the bear event and a competitive darts and dominoes night at Leigh Cricket Club, will go to Marie Curie Cancer Care to support the work of their nurses in the Leigh area.
Barbara involved friends, family, customers and business associates in the activities.
Fundraising manager, Stephen Tongue, said: "The nurses look after and help patients to live out their lives in the comfort and familiar surroundings of their own home.
"The service is free and only exists thanks to the good will and support of people like Barbara and the generosity of the people of Leigh."
Barbara will continue the fund raising next year by taking part in the charity's seventh Dublin Dash - a weekend of fun starting with the challenge of getting to Dublin and culminating with a party in true Irish style.
