RUSH hour traffic was reduced to a standstill on Monday morning (Jan 7) following a collision between two cars in Bury.
The accident happened at the busy Manchester Road, Parkhills Road and Radcliffe Road junction at 8.30am.
A blue Peugeot 205, driven by a 55-year-old man from Bury, collided with a white Citroen AX car.
The Peugeot driver escaped injury but the driver of the Citroen, a 40-year-old Bury woman, was taken to Fairfield General Hospital for treatment to minor chest injuries.
