A CARE agency run by two local businessmen is embracing a strict "work for all" policy to benefit those with physical and learning disabilities.
And Alex Percival and Mark Bradley are appealing for people to provide a valuable input into a focus group which will be the springboard for their strategy.
Alex from Tottington and Mark from Bury run the Grow Care Agency which, for the past four months, has provided care assistants and kitchen staff to local private nursing and residential homes.
They now want to give those with physical and learning disabilities an opportunity to work in such an environment and to forge a rewarding and challenging career path.
Those who have been asked for their input include individuals with disabilities, their parents, local councillors and political figures, business executives and community members who want to make a difference.
"All this is with the aim of helping to assist in independent living and giving individuals a real wage for a real job," stressed Alex.
Alex and Mark, both aged in their mid-20s, met through the Scout movement in Bury and say they learned the rewards of helping people at an early age.
Anyone wishing to become part of the focus group and who can provide help and ideas should contact the agency on either 01204 365 887 or 07903 195 117.
