DARWEN manager Steve Wilkes wants his side to carry on the good work at Oldham Town tomorrow after their superb 4-2 win over Morecambe on Tuesday.
Wilkes saw his side twice come from behind to beat the Conference promotion hopefuls - who this week went full-time - in the Lancashire Marsden Trophy, but knows the 'Jekyll and Hyde' tag still hasn't been shrugged off.
"It would be just like us to go and get beat at Oldham now," he said.
"I just hope it is not a case of 'After the Lord Mayor's show'. We need to start picking points up in the league.
"The difference with Tuesday was the attitude. People didn't turn up expecting to win but they do that sometimes with the league games."
Wilkes was ecstatic after the side's win on Tuesday and praised striker Matt Swailes, who he picked up from Salford City just weeks ago.
"I knew if we could get it to Matt we'd cause them problems and I thought he was outstanding," he said.
