I LIVE on the main access route from the motorway to Fairfield Hospital, and from I witnessed during the recent winter weather I can positively say that Bury Metro do not give two hoots about people's safety.
On the day it snowed, I watched helplessly as several ambulances tried to make their way up Willow Street, Bury. As they skidded all over the road I felt so sorry for the patients inside who were probably in need of emergency treatment.
But what did Bury Metro do? Nothing. They eventually gritted the road, almost a week later.
Shame on you Bury Metro, and all who work in your cleansing department.
MR ANGRY,
Willow Street, Bury.
