CAST members in a school panto are looking forward to the opening night and hitting the boards in their latest production.
Pupils at Fisher More High School are using all their spare time to prepare for their performance of Cinderella, which begins at the end of the month.
Everyone at the school, including the teachers, children and even dinner ladies, are getting involved. The panto will run from Tuesday, January 29, to Friday, February 1, inclusive.
Hilary Foster, head of drama at the school, is producing the show alongside musical director and fellow teacher Julie Townson.
Mrs Foster said: "The fact that everyone is involved is brilliant. There is a real buzz around the place.
"It is a real school effort. The secretary is handling the choreography and the art and CDT departments are making the props.
"We did Aladdin a couple of years ago and although it went well, it was a big challenge so we can't guarantee to do a panto every year.
"With that in mind, I would urge people to book early as tickets will go quickly."
Anyone wanting tickets should contact the school on 01282 865299.
