THREE abandoned kittens have been found good homes.
Maureen Savage, of Moggies Cat Sanctuary, Darwen, said she was delighted with the response to the story of their plight on the Evening Telegraph's Darwen page.
She said: "It was absolutely brilliant. I also managed to find homes for some of my adult cats and for two other kittens I was looking after."
Maureen said she would also like to thank Evening Telegraph readers for their concern about Saskia, the white cat who had cancer in her ears who was featured before Christmas.
She said: "Saskia has now found a loving home and has settled in really well.
"There was an overwhelming response from readers wanting to give her a home.
"I will get round to writing to everybody who offered to give her a home to thank them for their concern."
Mrs Savage added she would like to thank everyone for their interest and donations to the sanctuary.
