PRESTON finally start their FA Cup campaign tonight - but the potential for a banana skin result is dangerously high.
The trip to Brighton was postponed nearly a fortnight ago due to a frozen pitch.
The game tonight is definatley on, and against a team who have lost only TWICE this season, manager David Moyes knows he has his work cut out.
Brighton have one of the lower League's most sought-after strikers in Bobby Zamora, and Moyes said: "He is very good and we know we will have to watch him.
"But we too have good strikers who, I think, can play as well if not better.
"They need to go and get the goals from this game."
The winners of the delayed tie will host First Division mid-table team Sheffield United.
Skipper Sean Gregan could make his return to the side for the first time since Boxing Day. As well as suffering from a jarred knee, Gregan has battled against the flu but only just missed Saturday's game at Walsall.
His return could mean reshuffling the midfield again, although putting Gregan back in central defence is an option.
Sterling performances from Michael Keane and Iain Anderson mean Moyes has plenty of options in midfield, although the club's injury count stands at five at the moment.
Tepi Moilanen, Michael Jackson, Mark Rankine and Lee Cartwright are among those injured although Moyes said: "Injuries happen. We never blame injuries."
Richard Cresswell is also touch and go.
Up front, Steve Basham's goal at the weekend could make selection tougher, with Jon Macken and David Healy also battling for places.
