ROVERS today urged fans not to delay in buying tickets for next Tuesday night's Worthington Cup semi-final second leg with Sheffield Wednesday.
Cup fever is hotting up with news that opponents Wednesday have already completely sold out their 5000 allocation.
And Ewood officials say it is likely that there will be no tickets left for sale by the day of the game.
"Sales are very encouraging and we are advising our supporters not to leave the buying of their tickets until the last minute," said secretary Tom Finn.
"The decision to price the tickets at the reduced rate of £10 (adults) and £5 (concessions) has clearly increased the chances of the match attracting a capacity crowd."
Rovers are just one step away from their first major cup final appearance in 42 years and hold a 2-1 advantage from the first leg at Hillsborough.
Tickets can be booked through the Ewood ticket hotline 01254 671666.
