FORMER Atherton CC professional Andy Hall has been appointed captain of Cheshire for the 2002 season.
After leaving Atherton at the end of 2000, Andy joined Bramhall of the Cheshire League and last season became a regular member of the Cheshire side, scoring a century in the Minor Counties title play-off against Lincolnshire.
Andy spent six season in the Bolton Association, all of them at Higham Park. He scored a total of 8208 runs including 13 centuries and only once did he fail to reach 100 runs in a season.
In his time at Atherton, he helped the club to four Cross Cup finals, winning twice.
