ANDY Prior and His Orchestra appear in a must-see show for any 'Big Band Sound' fan at Bolton's Albert Halls on February 1.
Leigh's master musician has long been recognised as the finest swing singer Britain has ever produced.
Since his early days as singer with the Eric Delaney Band he has continually set the standard both vocally, and as a band leader.
He has built a great career as a recording and performing artist, first leading the Night Owls, and then doing three consecutive tours with the Andy Prior Orchestra under the title of The Magic of Sinatra, along with his legendary residency at the Tower Ballroom, Blackpool.
Andy is joined, for this tour only, by USA's John Miller -- leader of the Herb Miller Orchestra, and nephew of Glenn Miller.
Big Band Crazy is a 'tour de force' celebration featuring the hits of Harry James, Count Basie, Stan Kenton, Ted Heath, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller and many more. It will also feature classics by great arrangers such as Billy May, Nelson Riddle and Don Costa. And of course no show would be complete without some of the songs made famous by one Francis Albert Sinatra.
The show takes place on Friday, February 1 and tickets are available from the box office on 01204 334400.
