LEIGH RMI will be hoping that their recent cup successes have given them a massive boost of confidence as they look for a belated kick-start to their confidence campaign against Telford United this weekend.
The Railwaymen will be hoping to settle some old scores against the Bucks, who beat a lacklustre RMI in September's reverse fixture 3-1.
Former RMI marksman Mark Quayle was the hat-trick hero that day but without him in the starting line-up, Leigh should go into the match in high spirits after a solid display saw them dispose of Emley in Monday night's FA Trophy replay. Telford lie in a promising fifth place in the Nationwid Conference following a solid run of late and were just two minutes away from completing a league double over Steve Waywell's side last season before Tony Black netted an equaliser from the penalty spot.
Leigh are looking to get back to their defensively solid ways and are likely to include Jamie Udall in the sixteen-man squad after the influential centre-half has been missing for fifteen months due to ligament damage sustained in last season's cup meeting with Scarborough.
He will be competing for places with the ever-improving Gerry Harrison, Ian Swan and Neil Durkin but will do well to make the starting line-up after the recent solidity that has been shown.

Michael Twiss was in exquisite formin the two Emley ties and is likely to start as a third striker providing he is fit. Waywell was in enthusiastic tone after watching Twiss cut Emley to shreds on Monday: "The lad is in a different class. He worked excellently with the other two strikers out there tonight and frightens teams with his pace.
Kick-off at Hilton Park is at 3pm on Saturday, and RMI then have a seven day break scheduled before Northwich Victoria are their next opponents the following week.
"When he is on form, he is a fantastic player to watch and I hope that he can reproduce that form on Saturday."
