CABLE workers might be able to help put to friends back in touch.
E-mail correspondent MARGARET writes: "Anyone know the whereabouts of my old pal, Carol Monks? She used to live in Clark St, Leigh. She emigrated to Australia along with her daughter, Wendy, and son, Peter. We worked at the BICC together.
"Carol, if you see this, remember the piggeries? It must be 30 years since I last saw her, if anyone has an address or email, I would be delighted if you could email it to me, thanks."

JOHN PRICE is trying to trace the Price family history.
Via e-mail he says: "Around 1910, William lived in Bag Lane, Atherton, with son John and other family members. He may have originated from Aberystwyth. William's grandson James (my father) was born on January 12, 1919, at 215, Bag Lane, Atherton. Relatives were also in the Daisy Hill area.
"We are also related to the Hatton family, of Atherton. Bob Hatton worked at Atherton Town Hall for many years. Any information would be welcome."
