AFTER the diddy scooter fad last year, kids seem to have been bitten by the mini bike bug.
I watched them being snapped up in a Railway Road store, nearly got knocked down by one rider, his legs going like the clappers, in Bradshawgate, then encountered the most disobedient child I've ever had the misfortune to see in a main street shop on another.
Despite being told by a sales assistant to get off the merchandise and put it back, he just ignored staff requests and carried on riding.
Told to leave the store, he refused point blank and wandered over to start mauling with some other shop property.
What got my goat was that his mother was in the shop and totally ignored what was going on.
What's in their minds to let their offspring behave so appallingly?
Nothing, obviously.
