COULD they fix it? Yes they could! A visit of Bob the Builder to South Shore's Arnold Junior School Kindergarten, that is.
A group of 40 excited 2-4-year-olds at the Lytham Road school dressed up as fairytale and cartoon characters to welcome the famous builder to a party.
And the man behind the Bob costume was a real-life builder whom the children had seen working on their new two-storey kindergarten extension.
Head teacher Colin White said: "They have seen Ian doing the building work, so he dressed up as Bob the Builder for the party.
"The children's reactions were interesting. Some of the children were a little wary but some of them went up and hugged him. It was an excellent afternoon."
