A BURY taxi driver was injured when his Vauxhall Omega cab was in collision with another car owned by compensation company Accident Direct.
The 42-year-old cabbie suffered whiplash injuries and was taken to Fairfield General Hospital following the accident at the junction of Rochdale Road and Lord Street.
The other car, a Ford Focus, was driven by a 37-year-old man from Leigh.
The crash scene is considered one of the borough's worst accident blackspots.
