VOTERS in St Annes are gearing up for the Kilnhouse Ward by-election.
Seven people have been nominated to stand for the Fylde Borough Council by-election which will take place on January 24.
Conservative Party candidates are Christine Akeroyd and William Prestwich; William Bentham and Barry Evans will both stand for Fylde Ratepayers Association; Liberal Democrat candidates are Patricia Fielding and Karen Henshaw and Peter Stephenson stands for the Labour Party.
Voting will take place between 8am and 9pm at St Alban's Church Hall, Kilnhouse Lane and Heyhouses CE junior school, Clarendon Road North.
The by-election is being held for two Fylde Borough Council seats following the resignations of Councillors Jack Lane and Margaret Watson before Christmas.
