THE first public meeting of BCAGE -- the group formed to campaign against the introduction of casino hotels in Blackpool -- will be held on January 21.
BCAGE -- Blackpool Coalition Against Gambling Expansion -- will be discussing their case against the casinos and talking about results of the groups' first public opinion survey.
Presentations will be given by group chairman Rev Tim Widdess, Blackpool hotelier Alan Duxbury Campbell and USDAW representative Jane Rogers, who will be giving a trade union perspective on the proposed casinos. The meeting will be held at the Fir Grove Hotel, Dickson Road, at 7.30pm.
