VILLAGERS in Crawshawbooth can look forward to a performance by a theatre company which aims to take professional productions into rural areas.
Baize is among the touring companies being promoted by the Spot On rural network which enables live theatre to be performed in remote villages.
The company is due to perform at the Village Centre, Crawshawbooth, tomorrow as part of the initiative.
Community worker Ailsa Haigh said: "The project is subsidised by Rossendale Council and the North West Arts Board to bring the arts to small areas where people may not get the chance to see live performances.
"The show is based on a Christmas Carol type of story which will look as Christmas past, present and future as told by four actors."
Tickets are £5 adults, £3.50 concessions and £15 for a family ticket with no restriction on the number of children. The price include refreshments.
