ROSSENDALE play Eastwood Town at home tomorrow in the second 'six-pointer' for the club in the past two weeks.
Jim McCluskie's side were beaten 2-1 in the first of the top-of-the-UniBond First Division table clashes at Ossett Town last week.
But they will hope not to make the same mistakes tomorrow against sixth-place Eastwood in their first home league match since November 21.
"It was a big game last week, a six-pointer," said McCluskie. "And we have another one tomorrow. We were in the driving seat against Ossett but I think some players thought it was over at half time.
"I warned them about that. I said I knew their manager would make them come out in the second half and fight and they battered us. But we'll take something out of it as we always do.
"We haven't played at home for a long, long time and the players are looking forward to it.
"They turned us over at their place, 1-0, and it was our first away defeat of the season so we owe them one."
If Rossendale lose, they will go out of the top five. The top two at the end of the season go up to the UniBond Premier and the next three go to the play-offs.
"It won't matter if we drop out of the top five because there are plenty of games left," said McCluskie. "We are more than capable of going on a run toward the end of the season."
