MANY readers may be wondering what has happened to the case of the "Metric Martyrs" which was heard before the Court of Appeal in mid-November. We are still awaiting the judgement which, we were told, the judges would begin working on immediately. It is now seven weeks.
This was the case concerning the enforced sale of goods in metric measures which would ultimately answer the question: "Who governs Britain?". Hopefully, it would also overturn the judgement from the Sunderland courtroom where it was stated that "as a nation we surrendered our sovereignty to the European Union" in signing the 1972 European Communities Act.
Victory for us would create a constitutional crisis.
Defeat for us would create a constitutional crisis.
Why the delay? Well, you can draw your own conclusions.
