BLACKBURN Hawks are preparing for a Premier Cup clash with Nottingham tomorrow.
And the Hawks will be seeking revenge following a 10-1 thrashing in their last meeting.
But whilst the team are elated after securing a 10-2 victory over Bradford Bulldogs last week, coach Bobby Haig knows Nottingham are a difficult team to beat.
"Nottingham are in the league above us and are doing very well, plus they have some excellent British players," he said. "But we will certainly be putting in the effort to give them a good game, especially since the beating they gave us in September.
For Blackburn, currently at the bottom of the Premier Cup table with just one point, a win is crucial in order to stay in the competition.
However, Nottingham will be fighting to keep their all-important two-point lead by preventing the Hawks from taking anything away from the game.
"It's going to be a tough one, but we'll just have to give it our best shot," said Haig.
"Hopefully the win last week has given the guys more confidence in their ability and a good score on Sunday, and a good team performance, might help things further."
The Arena doors open at 5:15pm for the 6pm face off.
