CONGLETON...2 GT HARWOOD...0
GREAT Harwood dropped deeper into relegation trouble with this NWCL Division One defeat against fellow strugglers Congleton.
After their first league win in 15 games against Warrington Town last weekend, manager Denis Underwood was confident they could begin the climb up the table with a win over the Cheshire side.
But instead the Showground team slipped into the bottom two as two Michael Scully goals proved their undoing.
The Congleton player opened his account as early as the fifth minute and then sealed the three points with one minute left.
The home side were awarded a penalty which Scully swept home.
